Collin HodgeCollin Hodge graduated from the University of the Virgin Islands, St. Croix Campus with an Associate of Arts Degree in Business Management and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration. Mr. Hodge also added to his education (2) additional courses a sixty (60) hour course in Management and Frontline from VITAAL Training Institute and a (16) hour course on Management and Hospitality from the Caribbean Hospitality and Training Institute.

Collin Hodge’s professional career includes: Director of Sales, Marketing and Promotions at JKC Communications of the Virgin Islands, (Parent Company of Isle 95, Sunny 99.5, Mongoose 104.9 AM970-WSTX & WSTXFM-100 radio stations).; Office Manager at the Law Offices of Lee J. Rohn, and Senior Planner at IVAX Pharmaceuticals…to name a few. Hodge is also the proud owner of Subway (Golden Rock), Martini’s Lounge & Nightclub (formerly Indies), and Massive Management and Productions LLC, a home based event planning, business consultation, marketing, and promotions company. Massive Management and Productions, LLC in its twenty plus years of existence has planned and coordinated over 300 activities throughout the VI. Past and current Business and Marketing consultations include: ZURICH RE-INSURANCE COMPANY, UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX ONLINE, THE VI DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, DIVI CARINA BAY RESORT AND CASINO, and the CHRISTIANSTED RETAIL & RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH: Hodge founded Business In Paradise Inc., a non-profit organization in April of 1999. B.I.P. Inc. began its mission of bridging the gap between the Private and Public sectors of the Virgin Islands. The “Business in Paradise…After Hours” events served as both a social and business gathering, geared towards unifying the relationships between the private and government sectors of the community. Past guest speakers have included: Governor Charles W. Turnbull, Wade Gates (Director of Corporate Affairs for Beal Aerospace Technologies), and Governor John DeJongh… Other community activities that Collin has coordinated include the annual “Taste of St. Croix”. Since its inception in April 2001, this annual event celebrates the unique spirit and flavor of the U.S. Virgin Islands by pooling culinary artisans from more than 50 local restaurants and eateries from St. Croix. Hodge is also the former Event Planner for The “CRRA Jump-Up” and the “CRRA First Fridays” which occurs monthly in Downtown Christiansted…Through it all, Collin never forgot the group that made his success possible, the youth of the Virgin Islands. Family and Youth activities coordinated by Hodge include: The Annual Youth Appreciation Day – Lasting for 8 years, this annual (1) day activity was produced by Hodge and, then Senator Vargrave Richards, to showcase the talents and skills of the youths on St. Croix. Other Family and Youth activities to his credit are: “VI Entertainers against Violence Concert” and the VI Stress Release/Unification Series of 1997.

Hodge is a Rotarian, a 2009 St. Croix Chamber of Commerce nominee for Business & Professional Man of the Year, a former board member of The United Way Of St. Croix, a 2006 elected Democratic Territorial Committee Member, a former board member of The St. Croix Foundation, a former member of the Young Democrats, and has been honored by the Rotary Club of St. Croix – West. He was also awarded the Department of Tourism’s Hotel and Restaurant Person of the Year in 1991. Mr. Hodge  also has the honor of being nominated three years consecutively for Business & Professional Man of the Year by the St. Croix Chamber of Commerce in 2011, 2012, and 2013.
